The bell boat is approx 9 metres long and the catermaran design make it very stable – this enables safe transportation of up to 8 adults or up to 14 children plus a helm/coach. It can be used by all ages and any ability – It is a boat for all. Ideal for scout/guide groups – youth groups – adult groups it encourages team work.
The Bellboat helms course is specifically aimed at anyone wanting to take youth or other groups on the water. No previous paddling skills are required.
Candidates must be over 16 years old. A knowledge of first aid would be helpful. This course is free to Kingston Kayak Club Members
