Everyone had a fantasic time this weekend at Hull International Polo Competition at Princes Quay in Hull.
Leaving Little time for recovery Kingston Kayak Club (in association with Lower Wharfe) are looking forward to their annual Howsham Weir Slalom Competition. Howsham Slalom has a traditional feel about it with basic camping close to the river away from everthing for the weekend. As usual we will be offering Division 2 and 3 paddlers the chance to compete as well as running an Open and a Top Duo event. If this wasn’t enough we will be running a short course Division 4 event below the weir – so there is something for every level of paddler.

There is quite a lot of resurfacing work being undertaken on the A1079, so if using the A1079 to get to Howsham suggest you turn off at the Pocklington (B1247) then head for Fangfoss/Full Sutton and then the A166.
Water levels looked good last night.
