Kingston youth saw the end of 2009 with not only the club social, but their own celebrations for both Halloween in October and the annual Christmas party.
Preparations for the Halloween party took place on the Thursday, and by Friday the 30th October, the upstairs club house had been transformed into a room of Halloween horrors. The spooky atmosphere was only added to when kids arrived with their pumpkins for the competition and wearing their creepy costumes.
After much dancing, sweetie eating and game playing the night was considered a success and everybody left with grins on their faces.
The Christmas party followed, and the club house was made into a winter wonderland. Once again many prizes were won for ‘best dancing’ competitions, ‘dead fish’ games and rounds of pass the parcel. After a fun-filled night of dancing and Christmas cheer, we would like to thank all the adults who helped, and all the kids who made the nights so great!
