The KKC have been working with the Hull CC and HC&L since late 2019 about the redevelopment of the Albert Avenue site including the lido. Inevitably with big projects there are many hurdles and uncertainties. Todays news about the increased funding is welcomed and will help the site become a premier leisure facility. Throughout the negotiations the needs of the club have been listened to and subsequently reflected in the maturing plans. Inevitably compromises will be required however progress to date suggests that the club will continue to enjoy the site for many years more.
