Last year we were successful in winning the Yorkshire Lightning Cup. This is a series of races for under 10 years and under 12 years racers. We use Lightnings which are a stable racing boat. We have a small fleet of the boats and people do enjoy paddling them.
The races are linked to the Yorkshire Marathon series (open to all ages!) and are normally two miles long.
This year’s races are:
Calder 1 | Sunday 1 April | Pennine Canoe Club | Race start postcode
WF13 3LX |
Brigg | Sunday 22 April | Glanford and Scunthorpe | Race start postcode
