Years of Support Draws in a Raft of Awards

Congratulations to Alan Fisher who attended the The Canoe England Volunteer and Recognition Awards Dinner in October 2013 at the East Midlands Conference Center.
Alan was presented the following awards by Gold Medal Olympians Etienne Stott and Tim Baillie,

Canoe England Award – Services to Paddlesport  –  Commitment as a volunteer

As Building Officer, one of Alan’s current roles, he maintains the building & grounds and in recent years oversaw the refurbishment of the club house & outdoor pool.
He is an active member of our committee.
In the past he and his family organised many club trips and events for both KKC & Humber Canoe Association.
If you would like to congratulate him in person he is always found behind the ‘bar’ serving tea & coffee in tuck shop on a Monday night & at our events.
