Directions to Halifax Canoe Club
We are located in Greenups Mill in the centre of Sowerby Bridge. Parking is within the mill complex is for residents only, there is a big car park at the rear of B&M / the Market next to the canal. Alternative parking is available around Sowerby Bridge, including the industrial estate upstream of the club .
From West on the M62 (jnct 22): follow the A672 then A58 to Sowerby Bridge. Cross the river (the course can be seen on your right) and follow the road round
to the right. To get to the club turn right at the big chimney and go down the ramp into the mill. To park, return to the main road, and turn right towards the traffic lights. At the lights turn left and immediately left again into the car park.
From the East on the M62 (jnct 24): follow the A629, then A6026, then A58 to
Sowerby Bridge. Turn left at the t-junction, come down the hill to the traffic lights.
For parking turn right at the lights then immediately left into the supermarket car park. To get to the club go straight on at the lights then left just before the big chimney and down the ramp into the mill complex.
