Kingston A Promoted!

Kingston A team

Pool Controllers Course

A Pool Controllers Course has been arranged for Monday 21st May 2012 at 7p.m. This is open to all existing Pool Controllers in need of a refresher (I think you need to do this every two years ) but is particularly aimed at newer Parents who have child/family attending the Beginners Session at 7.30p.m. on a Monday as we are currently having to use Coaches to pool contol and their time could be better spent coaching. Please meet at Reception just before 7 p.m.

For every pool session we need a Lifeguard and a Pool Controller to “sign on” and then remain on the pool side. For those who don’t know what a Pool Controller does you don’t need to be able to swim or paddle a kayak. You just have to be aged 16 or over, complete the course which takes around 15 minutes during which time a member of the Pool Staff will explain emergency procedures and make sure you know where the Emergency Exits are. It would be a great help if as many people as possible are able to help us in this way. If you have any questions please either see Meg on Monday night or simply ask around – someone is bound to know the answer!

Please attend if you can – remember all sessions should have someone signed on before the session can start.
